Conservative Councils are letting us down

The latest Audit Commission assessments of both Mole Valley District Council and Surrey County Council show them to be merely adequate for most aspects. Surrey has also received a damning report on the failures of its Adult Social Services.

Councillor Margaret Cooksey - Leader of the Liberal Democrats on Mole Valley Council says, "Both Councils are continuing to under-perform. The Conservatives choose cuts in badly needed front-line services, including those where public safety is an issue, rather than overhauling the Council bureaucracy."
