Andrew Matthews
I grew up in Fetcham and have lived locally for over 35 years. I live with my wife and family in Bookham. I am a parent to children with Autism, and want to see better special educational needs support. I have worked in rail transport for over 24 years, and will use my transport experience to ensure our roads and public transport services are improved and champion safer routes to schools for our children.
Caroline Joseph
Caroline Joseph was originally elected as MVDC Councillor for Fetcham in 2023. She wanted to help make her community a better place to live and works hard to represent the people of Fetcham, fighting for better services, more sustainable development, and an improved quality of life for everyone.
Caroline wants to use her experience so far to help make positive changes in Bookham and Fetcham, focusing on improving transport and roads, and ensuring fair access to necessary services such as education and social care.
One of Caroline’s top priorities is making sure children and young people with special educational needs (SEN) get the support they deserve. She personally understands the difficulties families face in getting the right help and wants to make sure every child in Surrey has the chance to do their best, no matter what their needs are.
Outside of her work as a councillor, Caroline enjoys spending time with her family, is involved in several local groups, and often takes part in community events. Caroline cares very much about her area and is passionate about advocating for residents and helping however she can.
