LIb Dems sweep the board in Surrey's "super-Thursday"

Surrey Liberal Democrats won all six by-elections in Surrey on “super-Thursday” - 16th October.

In County Council elections, Liberal Democrats retained the seat at Caterham Valley and made two gains - at Guildford South-East (from a Residents Group) and Camberley West (from the Conservatives).

In Borough elections, the party retained its seats at Meadvale & St Johns (Reigate & Banstead) and at Whyteleafe (Tandridge) and gained a seat at Staines (Spelthorne) from the Green Party. 

In all six elections the Lib Dems increased their share of the vote
