Update regarding the Thames Water repair works in Dorking's West Street

Some positive news on Dorking’s West Street closure because of a sinkhole. County Councillors Stephen Cooksey and Hazel Watson have received an update from Thames Water:

"We are working on the pipe, carrying out repairs now. The plan is for this to take until the end of next week. After the repair we will need to carry out reinstatement work to put the road straight which will take a few days, followed by line painting etc. The whole job should be completed before the end of the month unless something unexpected happens which alters the plan but we do not foresee any issues at the moment."
