Dorking Rural by-election
Victoria Nunn has been selected as the Lib Dem candidate for a by-election in Dorking Rural to be held on December 10th.
The by-election for East Surrey Council follows Cllr Jo Farrar-Astrop’s resignation. Jo uses a wheelchair due to a progressive illness, which has recently worsened. She says: “I would love to have carried on, but I need to put my health first. It has been a privilege to represent Dorking Rural, and I’m grateful to everyone who has supported me.”
The local Liberal Democrat team thanks Jo for her service and sends her their warmest wishes for the future.
