Victoria Nunn
Victoria explains why she’s standing in this election
Our villages deserve a councillor at East Surrey who will listen and then do something about it.
Residents have been telling me about speeding and road noise, the needs of small businesses and farmers, and damage to our environment.
For me, listening to those concerns and taking action is what being a Liberal Democrat is about. Our values of liberty, equality and community mean helping people to thrive and feel safe.
I worked as a teacher and SEND Coordinator in the Ward (at Mickleham and Leigh) for almost 10 years - supporting local families, particularly those whose children have special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Too often, that support depended on a postcode. So, I founded an organisation that helps families find support, and brings them together wherever they live.
Today, our group is thriving but the challenges for our SEND community remain acute. I’m proud to work alongside Surrey's Lib Dem MPs, who share my commitment to help SEND families.
Our work shows what we can achieve together. A vote for me is a vote for your voice to be heard, valued and acted on - not ignored.
