Jolanta says, "I stood for the new unitary authority to help build a fairer, brighter future and create real opportunities for young people. I will work for greater transparency, better access to suitable education, and stronger support to reduce NEET numbers. I will also prioritise SEND provision, social care, and mental health services to build a more inclusive community.

"Having lived in the UK for 35 years and as a mum of two sons with special and complex needs, I understand the barriers families face in accessing support.

"I bring experience working in finance within an education-focused organisation, giving me a clear understanding of funding pressures in SEND and education, and the need for fair and effective use of resources.”
