East Surrey Councillor for Dorking; Mole Valley District Councillor for Holmwoods & Beare Green

He introduces himself

"I love this area. I’ve spent half my life here and I want to serve our community so that other young people, like me, see a bright future here.

"We are surrounded by the beauty of the Surrey Hills and we can see the potential of our part of Surrey. But, I look around and see people struggling to pay bills, young people likely never being able to afford a home here, and ultimately, we’re in the
midst of a climate crisis.

"While finishing my university degree a few years ago, I spent time working in retail, planning and in a primary school as a teaching assistant. Faced with a decision on how I wanted to move forward with my life, and seeing the issues in the country, I chose to focus on making change in our local community - from helping elect our first Liberal Democrat MP in over 100 years, and now supporting him in helping residents across the constituency.

“It’s given me first hand knowledge of the problems people are facing in our community. Seeing the positive impact of our work has inspired me to continue supporting our residents by serving as your local Councillor.”
