Good news: New station bench and toilets at Bookham Station

Cllr Andrew Matthews applied for funding through the Customer and Communities Improvement Fund and was successful which meant the railway could install a bench for passengers waiting for a bus connection. Some Bookham residents will also have noticed the old station toilets are being reopened thanks to Andrew’s hard work pressing for better facilities and provision for people with disabilities. The refurbished toilets should be opening very soon including an accessible facility.
